we did panama and now we are doing unchained, on video, no overdubs played warts and all with mistakes.
we gave ourselves a deadline of this weekend to complete it so i reckon that means sunday evening.
current state of play is, having not played in anger for ever i have huge blisters on my fingers, but i can get through about 85% of the track pretty ok..
rob (ever the professional) has just about learned and got it ready for recording.
anyway to throw it open a bit i guess if anybody else fancies a crack i don't mind and i'm sure rob won't so type unchained in the search thing and zeusse posted a backer with vocals for you to play over!

Aye, first one to cry .........
Im so looking forward to this one rick is really up for it to he has BLISTERS ha ha the poor guy!! These challenges really get me back into playing and concentrating to the point of driving my family crazy, its great to hear the kids humming unchained at 08:30 in the morning going to school and not knowing what the hell it is, LOL.
come on guys have a go its great fun :hammer:

Hey Stone, I know you were kidding, but there is some truth to that...or at least how I've felt a few times with some of the stuff I've read and some of the messages I've received privately on here. I'll not be taking part in any competition stuff on here anymore. If you notice there's not been anything from me for a while regarding that. I'll post a few things up for my head or for people to listen to, but competitions of any kind...please don't ever worry about me getting involved.

I've felt this way for a few months actually so though what you typed was pure joking as I like to think I know ya a little bit, exactly what you typed in a joking way is how I've felt in reality to be honest. So it's all good...I'd rather watch and listen from the sidelines quietly anyway. :)

doesn't matter to me who takes part, i know i'll never be a rock star, i just try my damnest be it good or bad.
this is why i first started 6sh, as you know danny we first met on g101 and everybody wants to be a star. over here we can be who we want to be and when we get to hear really good stuff it gives us all something to aim at, even though 95% of us will ever get there.
so for me if you did a version of unchained i would be boosted same goes for other players, i think to be honest its not a hard song to learn and better players here could learn it well in a night, but only a few would make it outstanding.

well my timings out I need another month to sort that out, so mine is gonna be evil on your ears I cant record now because the house is full and everyone laughs at me Im an old fart in a mid life crisis LOL :happy_boobs:
do it tomorrow night if you want rob, my shoulder is still messy after a particularly hard weeks plastering and is about to throw the towel in.
i'm still going to have a crack at it like but won't post it up.
we have worked hard rick we owe it to ourselves one more night wont do any harm seeing as its just us :thumb:
