new adverts

thanks to bigdoug, we have moved from the traditional google type ad's to affiliated style ad's.

now we understand that having adverts strewn around all over the place is annoying but at the end of the day things have to be paid for.

If you are looking to buy anything it would be nice to try and click through on these ad's, we don't get pay per click like before but its a straight commision deally.

the 2 companies we are involved with have been good enough to let us on their affiliation scheme, so the least we can ask is that at least you have a look and see what they have to offer.

ok guys I have a master plan.... I shall say this only once....lol.
If some of us buy stuff from the adds to let them see 6string on there radar I will then ask them for a discount code excusive to us at 6stringheaven and hopefully that will help our members get a good deal which will then help us pay for the site so everybody wins.

Hey Rick, just a suggestion and probably laziness on my part, but would it be possible that when we click these ad's they open up a new browser window as to not take us away from here? I know I can just right click and open a new window but I forget to do that all too often. I usually don't like to leave the site I'm on when surfing. Sometimes clicking the "back" button makes this site reload and it takes a bit, ya know what I mean? Just a suggestion. :)
