Shoutbox

I'm going to turn the shoutbox off for a day or 2.
I keep getting database errors and they are mostly caused by the shoutbox.

it'll give me chance to test the scripts and see where the problem is..

can i just point something out about the shoutbox, before paranoia takes over, the text in the jamroom is cleared every couple of days because all the smileys it displays slow this site right down.
If it has a 100 pages of shouts it has to cache all that data every 2 seconds, when the shoubox is cleared it is for that reason and that reason only.

Listen i'm going to have to turn off the shoutbox for a couple of days.
It's currently causing issues with mysql.

It's not a permanent thing, but i want to try and see if its that that is causing the server problems.

Don't forget if you want to chat in real-time you can still do so by using the Jamroom

it'll be offline for an absolute minimum amount of time..
