These guys were going to close down the guitar solo channel, for lack of entries, but I have been working hard at making it stay! enter any genre you feel like you sit in according to the rules, I have seen two soloists win so far, so I know it can be done. you could win up to 250 k in prizes!

well, I would start with settling debts, lmao, then some new gear I think, you don't know what K's are . .? 1k is a grand . . 250, considerably more, enough to build a mighty fine arsenal of guitars and other equipment and so on . . rock on man!

I have messaged a few other forums, about this very contest, and people seem a bit sketchy to join really, but the fact of the matter is this, the site within itself, is a great promo tool, IF you get to finals, it pays a c-note, which I plan to talk with them about upping to a little more to get interest. What they don't see though, is the myriad of industry opportunities that can come of it, there ARE millions of voters, and there are some pretty important people trying to reach others through this site, I had joined to win initially, but decided to withdraw and help them get the word out instead. Anyone serious about getting heard, should be thrilled even if the finalists get only a 100 dollar bill, lol because the overall value in everything else is much greater.
I will voice concerns on the low finalist prize, and see if they step it up some.

After much discussion, and hard work, me and a couple guys at ourstage have lined up a new prize for guitar solo winners, a brand new high end gibson (I am pushing for the les paul), There is also a channel there that will get you a slot (out of two available) at Bonnaroo, and many others to be considered, so check it if you have not yet done so, you do not lose anything by joining.
