Jack - Sounds like you enjoyed that matey!! Very raw sound! Almost like a JD enhanced version! I like raw takes! I have no idea why but I though of Neil Young! Must be going mad!!
GP - Great "Ambient" start, nice flow and build up! Loved the twinning! Cool! I felt drawn in by it! Very Jolly and uplifting! Was that a dive I heard at 49 sec's?? Not the LP then! LOL I caught the hidden tune BTW!
Phil - Very cool playing! I wish you posted more matey! That fitted reallly well! Lovely and stylish! How the hell do you play that fast????
Rob - Yep, I liked that take! The odd pinch here and there and a great tone. Not overdone on the whammy either! - Neat tapping and double stops too!
Zombo - Unmistakeable! You are very distinctly Zombo! Nicely restrained and great phrasing along with that trademark tone! Very listenable! Nice one John!
Robb01 - Some monster licks in there! Great to hear a new style! Very niceley played! I wanted more! LOL Most impressive matey!
Stempy - That was cool mate! Stempy through the decades! To me it had a "Sixty's feel" to the first bit then it borrowed heavilly from the seventies tune and finally some Eighties tapping!! Ha! Never heard you tap before!! Great stuff!
Zuesse - Awesome matey!! Not to OTT but you let rip (like I'd love to be able to!) just enough! Great tone and feel! Wah!! Cool indeed!
Blimey! What a great selection!! How the hell do I choose from that lot!!
Many thanks for your patience (sorry about the delay, for you technical guys, it was found to be a "cock up" on the BT lines) and even more thanks for your entries!
Norman
wow what a treat for the ears, some great Ideas and playing, I really enjoyed this BT and everybody else sounds like they did to. It's cool to listen to everyones take on a good track like this one.
Im gonna vote on the one that instantly made me say to myself oh yea that's nailed it, I wish I could pull something off like that.
So vote placed :thumb: and when I got some more time at the weekend I will comment on each entry because I think they all deserve that, and I would like to have a proper listen to them all through speakers at a decent volume.
Wayhay, there up!
Thanks for the fine compliments Farl... now it's time for me to listen to everyone else's versions and I'm really eager to hear how they all came out, so I'll stop typing now and start listening. :-)

Thanks for the kind words Farl! This was another fun jam!
Jack- Nice tone. Good pinch harmonics. Very Neil Young'ish. Well done!
Farl- Great melody! Nice and smooth. I like how the second round differs from the first. Well done!
Zeusse- King of the riffs. Great work! I love it!
Phil- Nice and smooth does it well! I like your tone the best. Great runs from you as well.
Rob- Nice! It sounds like your having fun! Love the last note. Great job!
Zombo- I think I could pick you out if I came to your area and went to pub you were playing at. You have a very distinct sound and style. Great harmonies. Well done!
Robb01- I think this is the first time I've heard you play. Well done! You are a great player!
Stempy- Very cool harmonies! Nice and smooth does the trick. Nice riffs! Well done!
It was worth the wait! Well done everyone. I love hearing all the different styles of playing and tones.

[B] Was that a dive I heard at 49 sec's?? Not the LP then! LOL I caught the hidden tune BTW!
Yep! it was a dive. I was going to play the LP but it's been raining here and I did not want to hold that heavy beast. I put that melody there because I could not come up with anything. I was daydreaming and I was thinking about the time my wife and I took our son to the beach when was still very small. Everything fell into place after that.
Very cool jam this time!
Jack... Nicely done matey, I think I detected a few pinched harmonics in there too and with such a clean tone that is very difficult to do. Well done.
GP... Cool phrasing, loved those twin-guitar parts too, they really added extra spice. Well done.
Six... You did okay I suppose...LOL
Rob... I really enjoyed that one dude, very nicely phrased, great tone and the tapping part was excellent. Well done.
Johnbo... Very tasteful, just as I always expect from you :-) As Farl said, it's unmistakebly Zombo. Well done.
Robb01... Wow, that opened my eyes... and my ears, lovely stuff. Really well phrased with some very cool shredding. Well done.
Spempy... Another one who goes from strength to strength with each jam & challenge. It's always a pleasure listening to your playing and your improvements. Well done.
Zeusse... I honestly do not understand why you don't have a successful career as a guitarist, everything you do rocks! Well done.
Farl... What can I say? Your timing is spot-on, your note selection is faultless, phrasing, tone etc... all good. Well done to you too.
I think I'll be listening to a few of these a few more times before I can cast my vote, but hey... there's worse ways to spend your time :-)
Before I do make my final decision I'd just like to thank everyone for taking part, this has been one of the most enjoyable challenges I've listened to and taken part in. Also, a special thanks to Farl for setting this challenge up with such a cool BT.

Thanks Phil. I appreciate it!
BTW- Pan your speakers all the way from one side to the next. There are three parts playing at the end.

Oops, perhaps I should have used headphones, at this time of night I have to keep the volume down when using speakers... neighbours in close proximity you see.

I use headphones at night also. Hard to mix with them but you can get it pretty close and finish it later with the monitors.
I just realized. If you meant dual harmonies under the lead, you were correct. The pollen is crazy here and it makes me feel like I can't concentrate. Damn pollen!

Well, what can one say........ pure excellence again chaps :thumb:
Just a couple of notables.....
Phil - Your playing is fantastic here, you really caught the vibe. Sounds a bit Sykesy to me ..... rep point
Stempy - You really pulled out the stops for this one m8, loved the tones.
Robbo - This is monster, I had to listen to your take a few times & it sounds as if you were sitting next to me.

Oooooh they are all so good! I am most taken with Zombo so my vote has gone to him. I liked the tremolo, tone + modal approach. Nice touch.
Phil - great melodic lead in and then off with those excellent runs - great! You're a fine player.
Stempy - very nice harmonies and building intensity to finish off.
FarlsBalladZeusse - you've got some chops! Love the wha too - rock n roll!
Farl - very precise and pleasant listen. Nice work.
Callinthehogs - Nice soft touch at the beginning - like the double guitar when it comes in (I'm assuming its double).
Frogs legs - yep, I like that intro - very original. You keep the listener entertained all the way through - was that a bit of "Cats" in there? at the end? Very good. Like how you round it off.
Rob - nice overdriven sound there. Lost of moving around in the melody - ooh, nice tapping too.
All in all, just a great listen and so much to learn from.
Cheers

Norman
Cheers, it was kind of in sections, you've never heard me tap before cos that's the first time I tried it on a jam, I just used it as a bit of practice. All great entries, but one stood out for me so I voted for it.

Yep Robb01, that was "Memories" from "Cats".
I know what you mean Farl. Lots of good stuff all around for all aspects.
Well a big 'thanks' to those who have voted for me so far... and for the nice comments, but now I've had to make a tough decision a place a vote myself (though not for myself of course  that would just be plain unethical). This was difficult because there is so much talent taking part these days but my choice is made and my vote is cast.
