Just got to take some good photos...
Gibson LP Std Gold Top. Simply the best guitar I ever owned or indeed played! It has a small ding on the front see photo abut it doesny detract from the guitar at all. It aso has a tiny hairline crack in the laquer on the front but I couldn't catch it on photo and unless you hunt for it you can'y actually see it! Absoluterly no buckle rash and beautifully aged hardware. Sad to see it go but it has to. Anyone interested then PM me. It will go on e-bay on monday ( I think...)

Farl, you can probably level off that ding with a bit of super glue, or a put a damp cloth over it and heat it with a solder Iron may swell it back out

Cool Guitar mate why are you selling?
Well.... I wasn't really going to say but Rick said (and I quote) "how the hell are you going to keep that quiet?" The answer is, now I've got it and played it, "I can't" So, the reason for selling this (possibly) and a couple of others now (The Strat Anniversary may go as well) is to finance my new guitar!!
Here's a clue to what it is.....
Proper pics soon!!

I'll play it most days I think. Stupid to say really (because it should be) but it is seriously awesome!! It came with some real shit strings on it though! LOL Unbelieveable! I would have set up a Gibson for 10's but it came with 9's so I replaced them with D'addario 9's and hell, it is just incredible!! No way is it an investment, I wanted a custom shop LP Custom for years and then they started the VOS thing which really caught my attention, then a Jimmy Page VOS, man, I just could not resist! To find a stoptail was the mission and I hunted high and low then just got lucky. But yes, to answer your question, it's a player and no way is it a cabinet guitar.
