Guys, I have had a blast here over the years but, for personal reasons, the time has come to move on. I have made many friends here and, if any of you want to keep in touch, I can be contacted on sham_297@hotmail.com

I wish you all well in your future ventures and will no doubt bump into some of you somewhere in cyberspace at some point.

6SH has made me a better player and taught me a lot. My playing level has increased no end since I posted here a few thousand posts back for which I thank you all.

This pains me very much Farl. A very kind fellow gifted me a part for my guitat years ago by the name of Rick and said he had a site and would I mind checking it out. He also said by the way Farl is a member. As you will recall we along with Rick and Mully ahd much banter on licklibrary and lets face it were the only ones that posted anything meaningful. Well knowing you were here sold me this place especially keeping me going in the early days with your painful jokes lol but also you startewd some awesome threads and ongoing ones like the word association game and 2 of the most popular threads on licklibrary to this day were your starting.

Your guitar playing blew me away the fisrt time I heard it as i had invisaged this 40something that could strum chords but reality was you just need self-belief because you knew alot more about playing than you realised.

Dude....what more can be said...THE most popular alter ego known to man. Even although I knew from very early on it was you, I laughed very hard ever single bloody post because YOUR sense of houmour is fantastic.

I am dissapointed we haven't met up in the real world YET but it will happen as we will be friends a very long time.

I think you need time time off cyberspace. You work dam dam hard mate and your time is precious. You have a lovely wife that deserves your time too...Go For It!!!

I for one will still be here or maybe even there in cyberspace :wink: and we'll catch up. We have exchanged phone numbers and mobiles etc too so any time you want a blether feel free.

Wow Farl Norm Mother Dude Highway the list goes on I am totally shocked to be honest you have always been there for me my dear friend when I was going to throw it all in you encouraged me and I made a comeback!
I am really really going to miss you Shaun I will never forget your wings you grew on that photo and all the gags and laughs we had from you I still can't believe this is happening!!!

Here I was clicking on this hoping to hear an actual song of sorts called "Moving On"....what a shock this was to read. :( No way to alter this decision at all Farl? Maybe just not come on as often? This is really sad, seriously. I hope whatever those personal reasons are, that you can have whatever fixes you need asap. You've been a great friend to me and everyone on the site, and quite an inspiration with your playing, your humor and you just being you. I look forward to the day I read an "I'm back!" message from you with a song attached to it. Until that time, I wish you the very best of luck in whatever it is you have going on there bro. Wow like Danny I thought this was a music post or something...but this is sad news. I know things change in people's lives and that of course can be good and bad, if there are things in your life Farl that need to be addressed then go get it sorted, it won't happen by itself.... and as Stew said you might need a break. I'll be honest dude if you noticed I'm not online as much right now either I got a crap load of stuff right now to do and also my wife has a list that is three pages long and I'm struggling to keep up. So regardless of what the problems you have to face right now, responsibility to your family and yourself come first, us dudes are gonna be here regardless, damm look at me I said I was gone and I'm still here...LOL After you get things on track I know you'll be back and if not I'll be hunting you down when I visit over there shortly....yes I did say shortly. Things always get better dude so hang tough...and stay in touch
