Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy someone an acoustic guitar, maybe an electric acoustic...depending on the price. But the thing is, I am clueless about anything guitar related and I have a budget of about £150. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to a good acoustic guitar that won't break the bank!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers :)

Hi Zigzag, check out the link at the very top of the page to thomann.de. There own brand guitars, called Harley Benton, are good value for money imo and would take a bit of beating if you are on a budget, but try and spend as much as you can and look for a solid spruce top.

Would suggest anything by Yamaha as they are real user friendly. The Ibanez exotic wood models are good also, should be able to pick one up on Ebay

Dean have some very nice ones available in a slightly cheaper priced Exotica range just now.
