Last year a huge branch came down and put a hole in the roof and busted out the back window of our car. Now, about 20 feet of the top of a pine tree broke off and smashed our fence. I guess the upside is that it's not our tree and the neighbor has to have it fixed. If not, I'm confident I can fix it.
What next!!!
:rapture:
remind me to bring a hard hat if i ever stay at yours!!!
Here's a tip for you...
Measure the distance between all the local trees and the outer perimiter of your property, then measure the height of each tree. If the height of the tree is greater than the distance between tree and property then sneak out when no-one is around and cut the f**ker down...LOL
OR chainsaw a slot so they fall on everybody elses stuff and you get the pleasure of watching instead of them...

I am surrounded by trees. 6 of my own and the neighbor to my left has 8 in they're front yard alone. My neighborhood was built in the woods and they only took out enough trees to build the houses.

Do it like I did sneak out while the city is on a holiday of some sorts, tell the neighbour you already secured a permit wait about a month to see if he complains to the city...when he doesn't you know he don't give a hoot and cut the tree down....cut it up for firewood sell it to somebody if you can't store and burn it yourself and if they city figures somethings amiss....just hand the inspector a bottle of rum and a carton of smokes...it works wonderfully well....ohh shhh! its a secret...LOL
Sorry to hear of your troubles Robert but just remember I here to help:thumb:

I don't think that will work. I live in squareville. You can't buy alcohol anywhere in this town. All business's have to close by 10:00pm. If the school system here wasn't so good, we'd be outtahere! Did I mention no alcohol?
i would move.
probably to VEGAS :-D

Since I really don't drink alcohol, it does not bother me to much. I prefer the other but I don't, and won't, do that anymore.
