hacked again

we got hacked again last night,
so i disabled the forum until it could be fixed this morning!

the hack installed a trojan virus on visitors pc's

anyway its fixed now.

you might have noticed a couple of differences to the forum layout.
i'll put these back to how they were later!

be honest with me, is it really worth carrying on? im massively fed up with having to sort this out and its almost everyweek now!

In my view this is the best guitar forum by far, so you must stick with it rick, you are doing a fantastic job which we all really do respect, and if you do give in they (the hackers) win

its phpbb its a hackers paradise! open code it's like an invitation to every thick wannabe hacker. no sooner than they release an update it's hacked and the script is on astalavista.com or whatever!

im trialing a version of vbulletin in a hidden folder on here so i'll see how it goes!

if anybody fancies having a play let me know and i'll give you access

Hell Rick, you're a better man than me! I don't know how you find the time, energy or enthusiasm after the bastards keep on and on hacking. If you keep it going then Great, I'll keep using it as its not only informative but a damned good laugh with a great bunch of users as well. If not... well, I guess I'll catch up with you on some other site and with a bit of luck, I'll buy you a pint of that old filthy water (N B A) you drink someday!
