Rick,
You were telling me that you loved your pod and now I know why. I got the POD Live about a month and half ago and boy you were right the thing is awesome  . My main processor preamp before was a rocktron voodu valve ($900) but the pod (at less than half the price) just blows it away. Been playing though my stack almost every day again. I'm one happy dude lately. :D
Anyway thanks for the info about it.
I hope this thread is in the right section if not feel free to move it cause I wasn't sure where to put it.
Mike
no worries, i'm currently seriously toying with selling some stuff inc pod and buying a flextone by line 6!
by the way its good news about your forum coming back online.

You know I heard a line6 Verix combo (they cost about $1700) and it was completely insain. I have not heard the flextone but I'm sure they are awsome too.
I was kicking around the idea of selling my rack too so I could get one of these but I'm pretty happy with my sound for right now.

Hi I like Line 6 products but I find they don't have enough balls when playing live for recording they are superb I may get into trouble for saying this!! But I use a mesa boogie power amp with a rocktron prophesy and my live sound is well should I say awesome !!

General note for POD users out there - check out the Atomic Reactor 112 amp - accepts POD/V-amp etc.. Great valve tones with benefit of Line 6 modelling. De-digitisation baby!

I think the exact opposit. I mean the POD live is great for going direct into my mixer but I love the tone I get when I plug it into my rack and go through the 4-12. I have a 400 watt marshall power amp pushing it though and that might be why it sounds ballsy. But truth be told I kind like my voodu valve setup better for going line in. I guess its a preference thing.
