Apparently, from what I've read here they play as though they're gay..............and I mean that in a non-homophobic way of course...............and that's coming from someone who couldn't tell a soccerball from a volleyball.

I thought Liverpool played bloody well BTW but... Chelsea had a couple of fine finishes. First half was one of the best I had ever seen!

Nah... just me being a bit of a prat. I know some gay folk that are fine people and for that matter some straight folk that are prats. it takes all sorts.

It was a class game, action packed like the Man U v Porto game on tuesday. Tough job for liverpool to get a win by 3 goals at Stamford bridge!!!

With the likes of ferdinand and berbatov back for the 2nd leg, I think they'll win at Porto. To be honest, I don't care if Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U or Liverpool win the champions league, as long as it's an english team!!!

Man Utd have the most british team out of all of the the top flight teams, they've got many British (English, Scottish, N. Irish) which would slot into the first team with ease. They've even got a scottish manager!
I know what you mean though, Arsenal have no good english players apart from Walcott! Liverpool only have 2 quality englishmen, Gerrard and Carragher as do Chelsea with Lampard and Terry...
If you take the likes of my team, Sunderland, they've got a team full of British players bar 2 or 3 of them. They should bring in that rule which limits how many foreigners you can play at any one time!

My girls love AMerican football i reckon. I caught them out back garden with bike helmets on running down lenght of garden with our neighbour Samuel's ball....never a foot used yet they don't get the concept :smile:

BORO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...oh shit. :(Nope Chris I'll be in shite too in a minute...LOL Well I know you boys do enjoy a good game of football(soccer) and some of the brood enjoy Football(NFL)...but as much as I have respect for those sports and a few others it just don't compare to hockey....Yep we hockey guys don't get nice soft grass to fall on .....ooops I fouled a player...here's your card..tsk,tsk, gimme a break.....Football ooops somekind of mishap...back up a few yards for your penalty and then sit on bench and drink Gatorade while cheerleaders fan your drops of sweat you endured during your tumble session...ohh please!!
Football is tough I'll admit on the body, and soccer stamina for duration...but hockey just goes beyond that stuff.....Ever been checked by a 300lbs linebacker? ...nope but I've been nearly destroyed by a 250lb defenseman in hockey cruising in a 70km..yes we are talking speed and devastation while trying to fight for an item that is 3inches in diameter...not some huge ball. Hockey players use footballs and soccer for warmups before games...need some fact watch this....

I sometimes think its unfair when I turn a soccer or football fan onto hockey cause after a while they never go back.....its ok I'll still respect these sports but there ain't no comparison......ok now you can hate me...:th_36_8_4:...oooo Stanley Cup playoffs are just starting...god its beutifull!!!!:17:

In this country Hockey is a girls game, and when they play it they wear short skirts.
Take that game, stick it on ice with a load of fat tobacco chewing toothless wonders and you basically have a girls game on ice. Football or soccer :facepalm: is the beautifull game.

He scored in the last game. Penalty way late in the game (just seconds before the final whistle) to give us a draw away to Bristol.
He seems quite lively and fitted in well with Counago. A Mexican international? Nice one!
