Went today had had a fab time. Played loads of gear but in a worrying turn of events found myself lusting after an Ibanez bass:whack:

Nothing beats a Precision. The only close second is the Jazz bass.

I did spend quite some time playing a top of the range hand built in France Lag Jet, similar to my own but £2000 more expensive.

Sadly I only got two numbers on the lottery tonight so it will have to wait at least another week..........

Sounds like you still managed to have a cool time there Stempy.

Anything on the new gear front that you noticed that is worth checking out ?

Nothing new that really caught my eye. Peavey had a big presence with all their latest digital gear and Roland had a big space with some neat new Boss pedals. Blackstar were showing off their amps which really rock. Definitely worth checking one out if you are in the market for an amp. The most remarkable thing I saw was a guy playing an EIGHT string bass, the neck was wider than his hand.

Dont know about bass players but stuipd duck, how many stupid ducks have a hit single and have a guitar named after them
Oh and bugger i forgot about the guitar show as i have trying to win ac dc tickets all weekend...the jobs is done
