Here we go with the poll. Only three entries to choose from so choose which you like best and think has changed the best.

Here we go!! Had a quick listen and loved the voices! I'll give them a good listen again and vote in the morning!

Ruby and Cracklin' Rosie! Who would have thought it! A Neil Diamond fest!

Thanks for doing this GP Matey!

Well a brilliant couple of entries from the other two participants, so close in fact that I couldn't decide so I thought the best plan was to vote for myself  Well perhaps not, but it had to go to the toss of a coin.

Stempy matey, that was cool. I love the weirdness of it. I like it!

That was a change of pace for our tunes. I like how smooth it is. Is that you singing?

I got to tell you. I can't place your songs. Stempy's totally had me stumped. Farl's too but the solo was the same as the first solo in "Sweet child'o mine". Plus other riffs from it. :wall:

LOL Yep, Sweet Child 'o Mine was in their as were two others so you got te "Sweet" part in the title. I expect (hope) that someone will recognise the "Happy" and "Times" parts.

GP Mate! You hit the high notes! LOL Excellent! Great production! Did you do everything? Drums and all? Very well put together with those instantly identifiable vocal tones! Well done Matey!

Stempy mate, yours was (as usual) a brilliant version. Rooby indeed! Frantic pace and great vox! LOL Fantastic!

My vote is cast........ I had two choices, both excellent so for me it was down to the one that was changed most from the original.

Foo Fighters and G'n'R I got, I know that I know the other bit but can't place it.

Yes GP it is me on vox. The song was originally by Kenny Rogers, called Ruby, not Rooby.

Kenny Rogers!! LOL Hell I had it down as Neil Diamond! Of course it was Kenny Rogers! Diamond also did a song called Ruby but it is entirely different.

Thanks for listening and voting guys. Much appreciated!

Yep Farl, I almost did everything. The bass, guitars and my vox are me. I found a midi file and made a few modifications but kept the organ and piano in the mix as well. You can hear the organ more the piano but they are there to add fullness. The drums are Addictive drums of course and I did what I showed in the BT video I made.

I have to give Sweet Happy Times another listen as with the Kenny Rodgers tune. Again, Well done guys!

LOL you guys rule! These were all great!

Stempy: was that you singing? Some good stuff in this man, very well done!

Farl: this was great! So many cool elements going on. Great arrangement!

Robert: Hahahahaha what a great cover! Your production is really well done too. I forgot all about this song! I used to love it as a kid. ;)

Awesome job...all of you. Farl edged it out a bit for me as well with a really nice sense of originality and manipulation here. This was great, thanks for sharing guys!

LOL!! Farl - that was like Roger Waters meets Guns 'N Roses, and I also caught that mellow bit of "Happy to be Alive" Danny Danzi at the end, lol!

Stempy - that was brilliant, lol! Kind of like a country/western - modern and old put together!

GP - Wow, bro - that's some kind of rock enhanced Neil Diamond there!

I still have to think this one out, but it looks like it's leaning towards Farl's bit

Well... That's all three bits identified....

SWEET Child 'O Mine, HAPPY To Be Alive by Danny Danzi (well... parts of it and thankyou Mr D!) and the main part was TIMES like These from the Foo Fighters.

No Roger Waters though.... LOL

Many thanks Rick. Glad it made you smile.
