How do I install Guitar Rig Mobile on Vista 64. I have tried everything short of a hard drive format!

When I try to open it tells me I need to re-activate because my system has undergone hardware changes,

I have:

1. Uninstalled with windows install utility,
2. Gone into registry to insure it was uninstalled,
3. Uninstalled ALL security on my system,
4. UAC is disabled,
5. I have followed their Tuning Tips for Windows Vista to the letter,
6. I have even done a system restore, re-downloaded updates than I reinstalled Guitar Rig without success.

Thanks for any insight you may have my fellow enthusiasts. /bow

Dont have one myself so cant offer much advice.

I would suggest that your best course of action would be to post a help request on the Native Instruments forum. They will be able to give far better help than we could on here.

i had a vista 64 issue in that the software instaled into the 32 bit program files dir and from then in it refused to acknowledge that it had been installed.

strikes me as if it had been hard coded to expect a certain path or something.
don't know if that relevant or not but it might give you a starting point

other than running the installer and NI Security Centre 'as Administrator' I cant see anything else that would need to be done.

From Native Instruments website:

Windows Vista 64-bit is currently not recommended by Native Instruments for professional music production due to remaining compatibility issues with many existing music software and hardware products...

...Native Instruments does not guarantee the operation of its products under Windows Vista 64-bit at this time.
