6SH Fantasy Football League

Thought that this might be a bit of fun for the coming season!

Hop over to the Premier League's own fantasy football site at http://fantasy.premierleague.com and register your team and we'll compete in our own league.

The rules are simple, pick a team from all of the premier league players while keeping to a £100m budget, you accumulate points according to how well a player performs. You gain points on assists, goals etc and at the end of the season, the team that has the most points wins.

Once you've registered and selected your team, click on Leagues on the side menu and select the Create/Join tab at the top. It will ask you for a code so you can enter your team into a private league.

I set up the 6SH league for a laugh so we can see who has the best team out of all of us. The code for the league is: 1036130-208505

The season kicks off next week on the 15th so you better get your teams in so you can get scoring from day one, it should be a laugh so don't hesitate!

I know absolutely nothing about football and tried to form a team of only dutch people....

After 3 or 4 I didn't know more, so I pressed the "Suggest"-button as I couldn't find any "Save draft" ....

Team is called "Black as siN".

If you know more dutch people to put into that team, please let me know. This week modifications were free.....

Not sure stew, I think the players' values increase if they play good, so you can transfer them and buy better players when the transfer window opens.

im not doing too badly for the first day of play, a few of my choices have paid off well, particularly schwarzer in goal and saha and adebayor up front. the midfield and defense arent dong great though, hope they pick up a bit.

Fabregas scored a tonne, so if you chose him and put him as captain, you got nearly 50 points from one player :smile:

There's a small minority who've chosen all of the players who pretty much scored the max for their position!!

I bet everything will turn upside down by this time next week though :smile:

You can transfer players in and out at any time - one free per week and any additional ones for 4 points a piece.

My Raiders now have Boller, Campbell AND Gradkowski..I smell a major QB controversy come September! But - at least we don't have to deal with JaMarcus Russell anymore!! :nana::nana::nana:
