Was lurking about really late into the early hours last night, as usual, and having a chat about all things guitarish with Shep. He kinda through down a challenge by sending me a backer to noodle on. Well never being one to give up easily on a noodling opportunity ........ I gave it a shot.

Somehow or other a glitch crept into the audio and sent it a bit squiffy a few seconds in, so it kinda ruined the vid. So i tried to get a bit creative with Sony Vegas and this is the result.

Been a while since i recorded summat, tis only very brief tho, blink and you'll miss it. Sounds best with the loud button on btw, health and safety ?? Not here !!

Best say a big thanks to my local council and the Lions Club of Nuneaton for the fireworks. Normally costs a few of our fine british pounds to go and see them. However they moved the venue a couple years back and now I can get a grandstand view from the ZappaFan studios window. :-)

Nice one Neal,

Had a sort of laid back Focus feel. Nice playing indeed. Did Shep make the backer? What did you play that Strat through?

Very nice Neal! Sounded brilliant. Would've liked to have seen the whole guitar, but the fireworks were cool :D

Thx everyone, much Appreciated.

FArl, I dont think shep msde the backer, it's a Guthrie thing. The Strat is through Amplitube 2, recorded along with the webcam direct into Sony Vegas.

Nice stuff Neal.

Some top-drawer noodling as always and cool to see a bit of flair being put into the video too.

Cheers Phil, not quite chromakey stuff yet, but watch this space.

When you're ready to start chromakeying/green-screening let me know and I'll mail you a shed load of loopable backdrops. I can't be bothered zipping them all up though so it would be easier on a disc via snail mail, along with what I mentioned in the PM I sent you ;-)

Thanks matey. I'll try a bit harder with the software first, not sure I am ready to invest in any chromakey gear yet, just dipping my toes in the water first.
