Well, I left a band 18months ago becuse I needed my Sat nights back for a rest. So I am rested now and have been trying to find a club/function Band to join or form. Do you think I had any luck ? No ! I just cant find anything or anyone. I have met a few Bass players that can only play Doctor Who or Z Cars, a few guitar players that only play JB Good, and now the calouses on my fingers are going soft (Sobs Quietly) My wife has threatened to kill me ( I thought they were supposed to love you) if I buy another guitar to cheer myself up. There must be someone in the West Midlands looking for a Guitarist to play covers ? There must be they will be there somewhere ! Wont they ? If anyone can help please get in touch. I would be happy to play in charity bands supporting good causes, I will play for food ! Curries that is. So thats me getting it off my chest, am I the only one ? Thanks for reading !
good luck in your quest steve, i think zappafan is near you,
Its apparently hard to get gigs back in the uk at the minute due to pubs being boarded up.

Shame you're way up there ( I'm in Cornwall). All I'm trying to do is find a rhthym player to jam along with, not to even play live, just a bit of fun!!! Even put a poster thingy up in the local guitar shop. Have I had any takers? Bugger all---except one fella who lives about 30 odd miles away and hasn't got a car.

Cheers Stew. That's even further from me, it's about an hours drive, I'm in Bude, but I might well get in touch.
Apart from that other fella not having transport, there was just a feeling on the phone that there was something a bit odd about him. Could be wrong, but???
