The Jam

me and stewmunny were talking in the jam room earlier and the idea of a big get together and jam came up!

this would mean hiring a room and getting some pa gear etc and everybody turns up and jams, then gets drunk! or whatever .

prolly a next year deally because it would take a lot of organization!
and would be in the uk somewhere!

it all came about due to us all meeting up the other night to see paul gilbert.

obviously everybody would have to chip in a bit of cash towards it but could you imagine 300 loud guitarists all jamming "awesome"

you views would be much appreciated.

i'll sticky this and if there is interest i'll post it on some other forums to see if the numbers will rise!

if it worked the following year it could be held in another country etc etc :)

Well its gonna take an extreme amount of logistics, imagining all the guitarists that do turn up in one room ( ego hell lol ). I feel its a fantastic idea and if/when it occurs has too be near a pub

Oh yes!! Great idea. I can think of an online retailer willing to help with some logistics and gear etc.....

Would be most excellent fun and a great learning experience for a novice like me.

Err... a uruguaian jam too ... If it really happens, say next year... I MIGHT be there since I'm planning to do some travelling next year, would be cool if we set a date as soon as possible in order to organize assistance.
