I decided to do a fabric top on a Jackson Dinky body I recently picked up on E bay. I was gloss blass until I took the sander to it.

Fabric top just applied and one coat of Sanding Sealer.

After a couple more coats of Sealer with light sanding in between. Cavities cut out with X-acto.

After several more coats and my first attempt at a "poor boy" burst with black to give the fabric a antiqued rice paper kind of look.

Tomorrow starts the 25 to 30 coats of clear I plan on doing. Not all in the same day of course.
