Ok been looking forward to this for months since first saw it advertised. Finally the day arrived to see the man himself.
Fistly supporting was a guy called Johnny A whom i had never heard of but was completely flabergasted by his playing.... afine blend of Jazz and Blues and Rock. His bass player was equally good and all in all the trio went down very well. Please check out out his very fine website phoots and tour diary very good.

Well short break then the lights went down the stage went Blue and that familiar drone and feedback licked off the very familiar Flying in a Blue Dream....man I wish I had binoculars as I wanted to see how he played bits of it..oh well back to the San Fran DVD.

Well there were so many highlights he used the white JS the Red JS his new supercolossal faced JS and of course the magnifecent chromeboy.
The JSX into 3 Peavey cabinets sounded awesome.
The crowd were well up for doing the crowd to crowd chant...can't wait for another Live DVD of one of his shows with the new stuff on it. He didn't play 10 words I think he heard Stew did a cover and he would never live up to it LOL.
Almost every song had extra licks added to them unkie previous footage i have seen where he plays almost exactly the album version but he has totally changed tact for the Super Colossal tour to give fans a little bit more.
Well i must say awesome concert and so glad I have now seen him and would urge all to see him at least once...I can't wait to see another Live performance.
