first gig for the blues band tonight :) An annual Jazz and Blues festival just down the road from us, not really nervous but a little aprehensive as there will be many muso's in the audience.... bugger! I'm nicely loosened up with a bottle and a half of wine in me, but I should be a little more sober in 2 hours time

The main problem will be reining in the band, the songs sometimes go to 20 mins by the time me, the other guitarist and keyboard player have done our solo bits The usual thing is to give a nod, but normally I'm nodding along with the beat anyway so it gets a bit confusing, I suggested jumping up and down on one leg but that idea was pooh-poohed
