We currently do not have that many Rules and it would be best to stay that way but.....

1. Swearing: I suppose we should all remember that children will probably end up visiting here so that means that swearing in posts or the shoutbox is not an option
2. Porn: It is simply not allowed neither are any links to porn
3. Copyright stuff: Backing tracks are probably a grey area so... please do not post anything that is obviously copyrighted to someone else and not you
4. Advertising: Ok, we don't mind that but..... fair is fair. If you want to advertise then give something back to the site, a donation or buy a t-shirt. The site is expensive to run and is paid for mainly by the owners and with help from members with donations etc. So... place ads here and don't help out and the thread will be removed
5. Flaming: Please don't flame anybody else on the forums, if you have a issue with someone sort it in private
6. Post bumping: OK so you want to see your post at the top of the list... this is fine, but please don't abuse it. All you will do is end up with people ignoring you and your post might incur the wrath of the Mods!!!!
7. Spamming: This is neither desireable or acceptable on this site. Just joining to promote your ebay sales or site is not an option. We do not mind posts like that from regular contributors infact we encourage it. But.... if you join up and just post Spam it will be deleted.
   We check to see if you have been spamming the same thing across the net and whilst this doesn't mean you are not welcome here, you should ask one of the guys in yellow if you can post your thread here. If you don't it will be taken down.
8. Leeching: If you join 6stringheaven.com just to download the effects pedal patches you will not be given the password to the forum. As a community of guitarists we all contribute and help each other either with help, advice or even just by joining in, so if you have nothing to contribute then we won't contribute anything back.

It is important to say that Items posted on here are not necessarily the views of the good old folks at 6stringheaven... Oh, and one last thing..... if this website breaks your pc, sorry and all that but it's nothing we have done!
